Radgar had chosen to come in to the town. THere were some potions that he made that used plants that were too rare to find in the quantities he needed...so the farmers and herb growers who sold their wares in the city were needed. He walked down the street with his hood up and his wooden staff being used as a walking stick. He'd been in town quite a lot recent so when he walked past some of the local children playing a game involving sticks and a set of dice they noticed the man who had taken time out to entertain them when he was in town. When he heard the children shout for him and turned, talking in his warm voice, one he used when speaking with the younger folk in the world he tried to settle them wit ha motion of his hands before saying "Well I am quite busy today....but I believe I can perform a trick for you. as the children looked eagerly on he shut his eyes slightly and waved his hand over his staff saying the words softly "Nogard....Eirf..." and with a fire work-like crackle a small dragon made of fire flew just out of reach of the children who jumped to try to catch it. Radgar chuckled softly as the children played their games.

Knight of the Empire, Galrauch, was also in the area, his squire at his side. The Knight was picking up a new scabbard for his sword, it had been specially crafted by a man that travels across the lands, an elf only in town for the shortest of periods. It was with great delight that the Knight caught sight of the wizard, he knew the man for many years, his father had travelled the lands with him and the two had done many deeds together.
When the children chased the dragon, one of them paused before the Knight, a moments pause on his face. Galrauch, bringing himself down on one knee to be more level with the child reached into his pocket and produced one shining coin. "Give this to the wizard, to say thank you. Go on now child." The child gave a nod of his head before running from the silver adorned knight with the shining white cloak to run over to the wizard, approaching him from his side and tugging on his robes. "Thank you mister." he murmured before offering the coin. Galrauch placed himself in view of the wizard and with a big wave made his presence known.

Radgar noticed the slightly shy looking child muttering his thanks and offering a silver coin....there wasn't much way a child like that could get his hands on a coin of that worth and give it away freely to a stranger...but with a smile Radgar took it and spoke his thanks to the child. When scanning for where the coin came from he spotted Galrauch...every time he saw the boy he was impressed with the man he was becoming, it only seemed yesterday he was practising with wooden swords in the gardens...but had it realy been that many winters past since Radgar was a young man? apparently so. With a smile he walke over to the Knight. The Dragon flickering out behind him. "AH my boy...so good to see you, I must say I wasn't expecting to see you."
